Yes, you can crack CAT within 3 months of preparation. For many MBA aspirants it may seem to be difficult to crack within 3 months of preparation or it may sound like a short period of time. However, with focus, discipline, a well structured CAT 2026 preparation strategy, consistent practice, with better time management skills and regularly taking mock tests is enough to crack the 95+ percentile in 2026. On a daily basis 5-6 hours of study is required and also if you use a smart, impactful strategy instead of trying to cover all the syllabus.

CAT 2026 - 3 Months Preparation Strategy
Month 1: Build Core Fundamentals Concepts:
In the first month the main focus should be on building the fundamental concepts. Students should have the basic understanding of all the concepts.
Quantitative Ability:

Month 2: Increase Practice and Start Mock Tests
After learning and understanding the concepts, the next step in the second month should be applying those concepts. Students should intensively start practicing and mock tests regularly. Everyday 5-6 hours of practice is required.
Students should also solve last year’s question papers to have an idea of how the paper is going to be. Daily routine should include 2 hours of practicing Quantitative ability, 1.5 hours of practicing VARC, 1.5 hours of practicing DILR and 1 hour of revision and error analysis.
Students should start taking the sectional test and should not wait until the end of the syllabus. This will help them to identify and work on their weaknesses. Sectionwise practice will help the students to understand where they are losing marks and for which section they need to improve and be quick.
Start with Full-Length Mock tests:
Once the students have covered the fundamentals, they should practice full length mock tests. This will help them to analyse the mock papers. After every mock test students should question themselves:
